Sometimes it’s hard out there.
Oh I know you’re not supposed to talk about that.
You’re a smart, capable, strong woman. You can juggle 12 things at the same time while you work at a job that may or may not suit you anymore. You tend to your family’s needs at all times, keeping track of everyone’s schedules and take care of your home. You can handle anything that comes your way.
You try to exercise, try to keep up on all the “I should read this” books, try to see your friends.
Try. Try. Try.
When did it get so hard?
More importantly, when did you forget who you are?
I used to live like you. I burned myself out – twice (I’m a slow learner), before I finally asked myself some key questions. (I must admit, I didn’t know the answers to some of them).
- When will you start to take time to care for yourself?
- What would you do if you had an entire day to focus just on you?
- What kind of life do you really want to be living?
- Who are you – deep down – and what is it your heart desires?
Can you answer these?
There’s a reason you landed here.
You long for something more, something different, but aren’t sure what it is.
You feel out of alignment with yourself, and you aren’t really sure who you are anymore.
It’s difficult for you to ask for help.
You just want a soft place to fall and let someone else take over for a while.
I hear you.
I see you.
I know you.
Come on in. Have some tea with me and let’s get to know each other.
